Do you see the Chicago White Sox improving during the 2008 season? Why or why not?
The 2007 Chicago White Sox did not perform very well this season. Although they are the 2005 World Series, they did well in 2006 but in 2007, they became in fourth place in their division and won just three more games than the Kansas City Royals.
Do you see the Chicago White Sox improving during the 2008 season? Why or why not? And how do you see the Chicago White Sox performing in 2008?
Tough to tell right now. The Sox still don't have an established lead-off hitter or bullpen. There are too many questions in the 3B/LF/CF dillema. Will our hitters return to form? Will Thome stay healthy all season and solidify our DH position? Which Contreras will be get? Will we have consistency from Burle's, Garland, Vasquez?
I see improvement. But to be honest, I don't see them making the playoffs or even competing any time soon. We don't have a good farm system, and I don't think Fields and Owens will be the players the Sox expect them to be.
